   Hello all! Taking a break from my assignment... which is due today... hehehe... The time now is 12noon and Joel's sleeping peacefully since his 10am feed. He's due to wake up at 1pm for the next feed and mummy here is furiously typing and reading and whatnot in order to get the assignment's bits and pieces in order... problem is, this is not the only assignment I have to hand in... the next one's due in Nov... ahhh... I'm still contemplating if I should go for class on Wednesday evening... Joel's growing every single day, in looks (they change everyday! serious! look at my facebook pictures) and in length! (he can't fit in a certain "position" in daddy's arms anymore) and PRAISE GOD! He's falling into a routine of a 3-hour wake up, feed, poo/urine, diaper change and sleep pattern... exceptions of course for a certain few sleepless nights for mummy... We have prayed that Joel would be an easy baby to look after and thank God for His grace, and help from Popo, he has been getting into that routine... For mummy, have been feeling very "cooped" up at home. I want to go out! and watch movie! eat durian! eat steak! hahahaa... I was just reminded that Joel shares the same name as Salem's church founder: Pastor Joel Ikonen! :) Although, that was not the reason why his name is Joel, I'm pretty glad with that little reminder. Joel's name comes from the Scripture passage: Joel 2: 28-29 The Day of the LORD 28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. This has been close to my heart for a number of years now - that God will raise the next generation... According to the devo that Aunty Sally Neo has sent me, I pray the same thing: That he will walk in God's ways and not the path that the world wants him to walk. I know that is not exactly easy... But we have to continually walk with God so that we will not be swept away by the tide of the world's demands, expectations and values... Being a mummy brings up loads of feelings within me. It's not the same as being mummy to the youth (my dear old youth, i miss you all alot!). Youth can understand and they can speak on par. They make conscious decisions...for some, their character is somewhat hardwired already...(nothing that God cannot do, yes I know God can change even the most hardened) but this little fella is different - he's just starting life! It also makes me feel all the more have to depend on Papa God to mold and shape his character... that is like so important, after loving God wholeheartedly, of course... More pics... |

   Hi 5/1! This post is specially for you! I know some of you do check my blog, though Mrs Lee doesn't blog often (ok, that's an understatement - my last post was in March...) | It has been a looooooong time since I blogged here! *clears away the cobwebs*. It has been an eventful and heartstopping first term. It seemed as if the whole year's worth of activities had been accomplished during this time!!! but oh no the year has not gone by yet! far from it! We have some new people this year, Benjamin and Melvin.... both from sa of course! hmmm..... what happened to the girls? dwindling in numbers already! (cos when the no of guys increase, the percentage of girls go down....) some good news! Baby Joel/Joelle Lee is on his/her way! :) Praise the Lord! Puji Tuhan.... until the next scan... only one blur photo where we can't really see anything yet! (6 weeks nia) Joel means the Lord is God! Now Daddy Ben and Mummy Rena are praying for a chinese name! His/her Ah gong got one but it sounds too similar to MM's! hmmmmm..... So pray with us and pray for us! Especially Mummy Lee! Now we are having Choir SYF so it is becoming stressful! :( Don't want baby to be affected! Beginning of the year, we had: 1) March - Saints Aflame! Praise God it went well... the two speakers, Jaime Kidd and Tony Anthony shared their lifestories. 2) February - We had CNY! it was fun! however, a big hole in the pocket, as usual... hahaha... but it is good to be able to BLESS others... Of course, Rena had a stressful module that is thankfully coming to an end at end March... gosh... so many assignments to cope with. 3) January - a new way of teaching EL in school! with my new challenging class, lots of ups and downs... but God is in the centre! That is what makes it bearable! and even joyful! (yes, it is not easy to love the unlovable but God can enable you to!) So far, that is all... with Daddy Lee going for studies in July... and Baby coming maybe in October, we have a challenging year ahead... (yes, yes, JK, i read your tag.... poor Dottie's face has been in the top post for so long.... I miss all of you guys and gals!!!!! ) |

Hi! Just wanna blog about an interesting phenomena that happened in SA recently (last week). A circular rainbow was seen around the sun. I was looking into the net for pictures for my class publication and then saw this:  Somebody had captured this on camera in year 2000. I don't have Ben's pic so i'm uploading this for the time being... (read Ernest's blog for more details) The verse that I saw on the website was this: Revelations 4:3 (NIV) And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne. Amplified version is clearer: "And He Who sat there appeared like [the crystalline brightness of] jasper and [the fiery] sardius, and encircling the throne there was a halo that looked like [a rainbow of] emerald." New King James Version: "And He who sat there was[a] like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald." Interesting huh? And Aunty Peng Cheng mentioned in Israel they sighted a circular rainbow with a white ring with it. It's like the Lamb's marriage to the Bride. (something like that).  Cool! God is moving in SA! |

| I was reading Chris' blog and I was amazed at some parallels: 1) God is raising the music ministry 2) The Young Adults Ministry is starting out both in Salem and CHS! Cool! :) Anyway, Chris, as I was reading your blog, I was very encouraged! Press on for the Lord! :) On Sunday 19 August we had TCM meeting! God gave me these 2 passages. Prov 3:1-10, Joshua 1:6-9. I was asking God for confirmation and your prayer confirmed the Proverbs scripture. And when you were still praying, my eyes were drawn to Gina (naturally) and when I saw her reading the bible, I somehow knew that she was reading from Joshua. And when she prayed, it confirmed what God was speaking to me. Also, after the meeting, I met Patrick on the bus. And he also shared with me that he got the same Joshua verse also. So that's like triple confirmation. 1 more thing. During the worship, I had this phrase in my mind:- "The Name that is above all other names is worthy to receive all glory, honour, worship and praise."
